Version 17.03.38

SponsorBlock Updates:

  • Added support for channel whitelisting (you can find it in the “Channel Whitelisting” option in SB settings)

  • The old “Change Colours” button has been replaced with a simple text box in each category’s settings, making it easier to customise
  • 403 error messages (like warnings or locked videos) now show properly
  • Added an option to enable the SB browser button for quick access
  • You can now change the API URL directly from settings

Known Issues:

  • In new action bar layouts (a server-side change), the new toggles may not work for about 15% of users
  • Some older issues remain, including Chromecast connection bugs, codec override issues, swipe control glitches, and swipe-down refresh errors

Planned for Next Update:

  • Buttons for SponsorBlock submissions and voting will appear directly under the video
  • Return YouTube Dislike (RYD) will soon work in all layouts
  • More ad whitelist options are coming, including viewing all whitelisted channels and a global video ad toggle
